The tracker also updated me to BW10, I only ordered last Tuesday. 5 dr PP tornado with DCC. Im still not 100% certain I will go through with it. I have a really good deal on a new Audi TT Quattro. I love the look of the audi but prefer the drive of the golf. Its a really hard decision.

I would only be put off by the TT because the MK3 is out this summer so you will get a really good deal but will be driving an older model and it will inevitably have an impact upon resale values. However, I loved my TT so I wouldn't completely discourage you, just something to think about.

Congrats! Mine arrives at the end of the month - very excited to get back into a GTi!

Although my girlfriend had a late MK5 GTi and I had a couple of VR6's back in the day - my last GTi was a small bumpered Mk2 16V (with Recaros no less) - back in 1992!

2 weeks old today, my previous Gti was a Mk2 Lhasa Green Pirelli B reg in 84 so a decent wait! Worth it? jeez yes!

Jekyll and Hyde, drive to Liverpool office today (posted on here under long term mpg topic) 46mpg (equivalent to just over 48 in a diesel)  driving like a nun. Much more fun driving home using occasional Hyperdrive 35mpg, well happy :)

Bit faster journey today not so nun like! Just normal with everyone else  off motorway. 25 miles of the 49 on the m6 at low 60's gave me a tad more today
