If the pedals are all the same height it feels much more natural transition between braking and accelerating. Why have such a long and thin accelerator pedal and then a wider brake pedal?

Yes the MK7 pics I have seen show the pedals how nature intended :grin:.

Yes the MK7 pics I have seen show the pedals how nature intended :grin:.

It's because the dsg's are so slow they don't need a proper gas pedal.

It was legislation in the US to have the pedals at different heights following a series of 'unintended acceleration' accidents.

Sounds like it is now history as the Mk7 has same height pedals ?

2012 GTi 3 door, DSG, Nav, Roof, Monza's. Candy White..... and it's the wife's.
2013 Abarth 595, 2013 911 C4S.
