Not even ETKA has the part number
« on: 09 February 2014, 20:59 »
As per the title, ETKA does not list any part number for the highlighted item (no. 5) in the pic.

Anybody any ideas what it is and/or anybody know where I can obtain one?

Cheers.

Or take the pipe to your local parts place and find something suitable? It's just an 'L' piece.

Sorry Mr Blue but it isn't just an L-piece. It is two rubber L-shaped pieces with a kinked hard plastic pipe between - comes as one item. With some effort I might be able to knock something up but I prefer OEM if I can get it - but therein lies the problem of course.

I just bought a good secondhand one of these on that well known auction site of the www.
Looks much less perished than the one on the car.
Try searching for "VW Mk2 Golf Jetta GTi 8 valve PB idle valve to manifold pipe".

The part no is indeed 037133374D, it looks as though it comes complete.

Unfortunately we can't help with this, try giving your local TPS dealer that part no, it may still be available.

I have a search set up on the bay now thanks for the suggestion, Santiago.

Thanks for the part number Ben - if VWH can't help then I am very stuck.

Yep, bottom arrow Clipperjay.
