Clicking switch/ relay?
« on: 09 February 2014, 08:30 »
Hi all, new to this forum and struggling to add a picture. Hopefully the description will help. There is a black box on the drivers side, between the coolant reservoir and the window wash reservoir with a switch on the top and a hose running to/ from it. Can anyone tell me:
A) Whether it should be clicking?
B) What it does?

Thanks
Wayne

P.S. It's a Mk4 1.8t
P.S.S. Any help on adding a picture (I tried the button) would be good for next time.

Yes, this should be clicking as it is your fuel tank breather.

Uploading photos is not possible here as such, you can add photos by uploading them to another web location (I used imageshack in the past). Then get a link to it... and add that between the brackets you get when clicking on the photo icon.
