key coding vagcom needed
« on: 08 February 2014, 14:30 »
Hi guys i need to have a second key coded as mine is falling apart. I have a key that is cut and tunned to my remote so it will lock/unlock the car. I now need to get the chip working. Went to a shop that tried but when he tried to put the 4digit pin in the car asked for 5 digits. He was afraid of messing up my only working key. Said i need to go to main dealer but they are reluctant to use my key and want £52 to try weather it works or not. So are there any vagcom places in the south west area i can go to?
Car is a 2.0 golf gti 115bhp 0n a 2000 plate W reg.
Thanks Pat
