Climate Control Problems!
« on: 05 February 2014, 08:38 »
I have an hour and a half commute to work every day and by the time I get to work I am still cold! I have the controls set to temp of 26, full power on the Face and Feet fans only, yet i could blow harder than what comes out the vents! The car went in to the dealer on Monday and they said they found the fault and replaced the climatronic system... problem solved i thought! But NO! Same problem again this morning.

In comparison, they gave me an UP! as a courtesy car which had a heating system that wouldn't look out of place in the 1980's but it did its job and kept the temp of the car just right.

All previous cars i have owned have had auto climate control and i have never had a problem before - always set the temp to around 20 on auto and it keeps the car just right (apart from a quick blast on full on cold mornings).

Im not convinced that the dealer is going to sort it but I have no idea what it could be!! Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks mate - i have thought about that but think i'll give them 1 more chance. They replaced it under warranty and to be honest i thought it would have fixed it - the only other thing i could think it could be is the fans are broken!
