Decision time: Cloth interior or leather?

I'm buying a new Golf hopefully this weekend, i just don't know whether i should go for the cloth interior or the leather... Can anyone provide help, ie pros and cons.

I'd go for leather personally, although it can get hot and sticky in the summer and it'll be cold when you first get into the car in the winter.

I wouldn't buy a car just for leather seats though, if there was a better car for the same money with cloth seats I'd go for that. I would also look out for one that has Recaros.

leather for me everytime but same as Dom, wouldnt be a deal clincher.

Thanks guys, i am looking forward to clinching the deal when i see it. I've learnt a lot about GTI's from searching them online and reading all the write ups etc. i think the GTI is the right car for me. Thanks for your help.

Personally I have never liked leather. I like the look of it. But always find it uncomfier and too hot/cold depending on time of year. And I hate heated seats so wouldn't use them to warm thm up in winter...

As said though wouldn't be a deal clintcher

Leather gets my vote but unless it is heated they can be cold first thing.

buy the best car you can find leather can be bought later if it does not have it  :wink: but i did buy a car just for its seats  :smiley:
