The BAM engine is what the later 225bhp TT, Cupra R and S3 came with. TBH it's no more special than any other engine but some people seem to get hung up on the fact it came from a car with 225bhp as standard. It means absolutely nothing if it still has the K03s fitted anyway and at 220bhp it seems highly likely it would have the K03s. If it has had the engine changed I'd be asking why...
