Going to pick this up on Wednesday, paying 3k for it or 2500 and chop in my gti
It's genuine anniversary with 149k

What's your opinion and does anyone have any history on this?

cant see the pics at work... but if its just a standard anni...


personally id rather a normal gti (for the price).... could pick up a normal gti with around 100k-120k on the clock for less than half the price.  even the 180bhp gti (non anni) you could proberbly pick one up with sub 120k on the clock for less than £1500...

just my opinion though, paying for the badge...
if your happy with it and happy with the price though thats all that matters. annis are nice, but imo annis are overpriced.

That front valance isn't a genuine one, it's a JOM airblade. Looks like a diesel too

yep, defanitly not an anni. hasent got the big breaks, head lights, rear valance, front valance.

cant tell from the interior but guessing it wownt have the anni seats, seat belts, hand break gator, hand break button, clocks, radio surround, door triggers, door grab handles.

also I think this is a diesel going by information on the dvla website for tax

actually, just went on insurance website, and on the insurance database its coming up as a diesel anni (gtitdi, not to be confused with gttdi)

so either the insurance data base is wrong and he has tried to make a pd150 look like an anni by sticking the jom air blade, skirts, rear valance and any other bits on, or it is a genuine gtitdi (of which I have seen very few, most people don't even know about them) but has had damage done to front valace so has had the jom air blade stuck on.

ask for pics of the interior, and also of the anni plaque (states 25th anniversary and number # of however many)

I reckon it's a genuine diesel anni with a jom airblade stuck on. The diesel anni's do come up as a gtitdi, but they are the same as a pd150 (gttdi)

It is a gen anni, accrording to a source I use...



But Its ether had a front end smash and not been declaired OR someone has stripped that front end because that front val is NOT an anni one and the headlights are NOT anni ones.

The rear lights look water damaged, and the front wheels are missing the center sections not to mention, its hard to tell from the pics but them front breaks dont look like 312mm

Looks like the front passenger end side has been changed, both of the two sides look different. The distance between the passenger side wing and the headlights and the driver side wing is different. From the photos that's what I see from your pics.
