Red LED door strip on Passenger door

Before I start phoning the garage to book my GTI in can someone just confirm that the passenger door should have a red LED strip lit up when the door is opened at the bottom as per the driver side. The ones on the inside of the door work ok but think the one on the door sill has gone or maybe never worked since I picked up. Only just noticed it tonight!!!!

Yep same both sides, look like you need to go to the dealers

Yer sorry its duff, mines 3 door so have 4 lit up when you open the doors sills, and door uppers.
