I did a quick ad on here the other night. Had a lot on my mind with NICEIC assessments to worry about selling a car........ Where would you advertise except eBay? Absolute reptiles selling and buying cars on there....... Aside from Pistonheads and autotrader?

You could try MK5 Golf GTI UK, they don't allow new users to post in the Classifieds straight away.

I've looked at the ad, if you can try and get some pictures showing the car from further away in the side shots which may help, most are close ups. I would only use close ups to highlight damage e.g Pikey in a Van respray on the wheels.

You could start off advertising on the forums and if you don't get interest then pay for an Auto Trader ad.

Good idea mate. I'll get some posts on there and get a count up! From a distance the car looks like any other mk5, it's up close that it looks better than 90% but I get your point and will take some more although the weather will not match as the sun has been replaced with rain & hail! No probs, I think the Classifieds are busy enough on there you will get some interest. How quickly do you want to sell?

No hurry at all mate, I'd like another M3 before the summer really but currently have 4 vehicles on the drive which is excessive! More of a space issue really. I can't sell my company van because it's not mine, I can't sell my personal van because I hate working for a company and can't sell my girlfriends car because she needs it........ Golf seems best to go first!
