Can I fit a Audi s3 turbo to my GTI ?

Hi
I'm a novice mechanic & own a mk4 Golf GTI, I'm currently working on the car as a project and wanted some opinions on putting a Audi S3 turbo charger on my car.is this a good move in terms of performance and reliability?  Will I have to remap the car ?
 will I also need to fit a different exhaust manifold?

Any other feed back would be much appreciated, thanks

yes you can fit it but you will need the turbo the manifold the downpipe and a few other bits before it needs mapped it can turn out expensive if using new bits
