New toy
« on: 27 January 2014, 18:14 »
Hello guys/gals

I'm new to the forum, 28 years and only just joining the dub scene. Always wanted a mk2 golf and found one at the right time.

That's my new pride and joy. Not sure what I have planned for her yet.

Although my heater matrix is pissing out water so that's first on the agenda. Went 2 days after purchase and a day before I went on holiday. I dried it out and put some moisture absorbers in there. Just got back yesterday and have got my dehumidifier plugged in now just to make sure she is dried out properly before I put the new one in. Seems very solid underneath which is what I was looking for.

Any advice on a matrix shop would be more than welcome.

Here's a few pics of my previous (French) motors

Welcome! Looks tidy. As for matrix. Many use mk3 ones which are claimed to be stronger. haven't seen this evidence myself as any new matrix is stronger than and old one but be prepared to cut your hands and cry

It's a pig of a job and while you're at it re-cover the flaps (you'll see them when you replace the matrix).

Greetings btw!

Cheers guys. I'm ready to cut my hands, I'm used to it working on my clios no room to work for anything.

Cheers for the guide. I'll get one sorted this weekend
