I'm currently revo stage 1 and I got quoted £60 if I was to upgrade to stage 2 (just software not cost of supporting mods), I'm right in thinking changing companies means paying the original £500  again?

Revo's stage 1 is pretty much the same as APR stage 2 - Dont waste your money mate, buy more handling mods and get more of the power down.

done around 10k miles since my stage 2 Revo Map. And touch would the clutch is holding up just fine. And i live around country roads so the majority of my driving is "spirited" :) i went straight to stage 2 from standard so not sure what the difference feels like from stage 1 - stage 2. However the stage 2 is epic! You wouldnt regret it

Think its 20-30bhp extra and some extra torque, the power is great. Just have to weight up cost to power gains.

for the hardware and software in my case it was a little under £1000. To bring my car to 288.6bhp and 350lb-ft torque thats £1000 of anyones money well spent. So for £60 for the software and £xxx for a second hand/new TBE its still going to give good gains :) plus the beautifull noise of a TBE. Now if he chose to upgrade his handling/braking that would be up to him depending on his needs.

i do love it raffe. Still very grateful for the exhaust :) aslong as you not loading the clutch by putting your foot down at low revs your not over stressing it. If you use the rev range shouldnt be a problem. I have a friend with a seat leon with the running 330bhp on a standard clutch!
