ABS sensors-quality?
« on: 26 January 2014, 13:58 »
Chaps
I changed the front drivers ABS sensor on my Son's GTI a couple of months ago. (Diagnosed with one of those hand-held jobbies.) Now it's showing the light again and the code says drivers again! Wiring is fine so it seems that the sensor has failed again.
It was a cheapie from eBay-anyone know if there is a real difference in quality according to price? I'd rather fit and forget if possible rather than keep changing it.....
Cheers
Kind regards

John

there is a huge difference in quality (I would say that though!). I have just fitted a pair of febi front sensors and know they will still be good years to come (I'm that sure of the brand/quality)

£22.50 + £3 p&p for febi
pm me if you want at this price
