Help to fix an old black and white photo of my Grandad

The photo below is of my Grandad who sadly passed away last week.

Question..... Is it possible to fix this photo using software to 'remove the creases'? Apparently in can be done in photoshop.

Its going on the front cover for the 'funeral service schedule' with a more recent picture of him on the back.

The photo of him was when he was in the Royal Navy before D Day...... He was on the tank landing crafts.

Elvi, does have a certain talent with Photoshop, but it usually involves my head on someone else's body!

People used to be very keen on keeping the "negatives" of stuff like this! If you have a stash of old photos, it may be worth sifting through to find the negative, you can then get it reprinted exactly as it should be

My Dad also did D Day with the 101st American Airborne... the stories are incredible!
