If you do, or you know anyone that does, I'm currently stretching my legs and being generous by offering my services free of charge to reboot my ass into gear and make something of myself.

I am genuinely offering a free-of-charge service. I am able to provide all kinds of services such as:

Logo design
Leaflet / brochure design
Exhibition stands / pop up displays
Vehicle design (sign writing)
Illustration
Posters
Photo editing

If you have anything specific you’d like me to do please let me know, and I will do my best to provide you with a final outcome.

But I guess other reasons might be to a) give something back, b) challenge yourself, c) to add to a portfolio.

Shady, if you don't find anything here, you could try contacting a local charity and see if they want anything like new posters or leaflets. They will always be up for getting something for nothing.

I can certainly do something for him. Send me details via PM and we can discuss. It is basically how DubFan described it. I have become lazy due to my current job which doesn't challenge me at all. I am looking for a new job but I do not have the confidence to sell myself as a lot of my skill I feel I have lost (don't remember) so by doing live briefs/work for people that can give me feedback is ideal. And by making it free it's more encouraging for people to use me.

Nail in the head my friend. I have already emailed several charities, just awaiting to hear back. Sending out 100 odd emails a day at the moment!
