Welp, I'm knew to everything GTI related. I just picked up a '98 GTI. It's also my first UK spec car coming from the states.
So now I've got this wonderful car that everyone compliments. It sounds great, it's straight pipe, and has a nice loud muffler. It's also got a very nice sound system and is slammed. Having a car that's so small and low to the ground is the very opposite of what I had and wanted in Arizona. I had an SUV that was big enough for anything I need and I'm still looking into getting lifted. But I can't justify it on these teeny tiny roads, so do as the Romans.
I've only ever owned one VW before this, a 74 bug, so I have no idea what I'm doing. I've got a lot of time on my hands, and I need something to throw money at. I'd like to have some fun with the car that I've got and would like to increase performance anyway possible. I'm hoping to learn from you guys seeing as you probably know a thing or two about GTIs.
Any suggestions about fun small projects I can do with it?
