Fluid reservoir?
« on: 28 August 2005, 11:33 »
Hiya
Mk3 8v GTI, PAS, ABS, Aircon etc...

What the hell is the little reservoir to the back of the engine bay on the driver's side? every time I've been for a drive, tehre's a little purple thing that rises up out of the cap of it! I've got ElsaWin and I can't see it in any of the diagrams relating to PAS aircon or brakes and I'm out of ideas now!!

Please help!!

Cheers - on closer inspection it's a bit obvious really... DOT4 kinda gives it away!  I assume the purple rod that sticks up is just a level thing yeah? no danger of it being boiled or level too low or high?
