Also discovered that GSF can provide Brembo pads and discs, which unless someone can tell me why I shouldn't trust this brand, I'll be upgrading all round to their pads and discs.

Nothing wrong with brembo but which set up? they do performance and o.e replacement one's (gsf are the latter), I also sell brembo and delphi as my top line brakes (pm me your PR number and I can do a quote if you want?)

I've had good experiences with Brembo OE replacement discs in the past and have in fact just got a set of the Audi TTs 340x30 front discs for my R32 front brake setup, Brembo HC discs with the UV coated bells for £102 delivered for a pair via Opie oils in the sale
No experience with the 'regular' Brembo pads though, although I have heard good reports of the HP Sport fast road pads..

At the moment, I'm broke, but I would be looking to at least fit Brembo performance pads both front and read, standard replacement rear discs (310x22mm) and performace front discs (345x30mm). The rear discs I got with my used R32 setup look OK but really rusty so may just swap them for new as I'll of rebuilt the rear callipers so pointless running fresh callipers and pads with old discs.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

I am having trouble finding some performance 345mm front discs by brembo! I use tec-doc hich links to brembo direct and they have no listing at that size in performance discs

I can do sport pads front £120 and rear £107 and std discs 345mm f £152 310mm r £102

The only 'performance' discs that Brembo do as an OE fitment (other than replacement 2 piece stuff) is the 'max' range, sadly it's not available in either the gti 312 or r32 345 fitment

If you are dead set on Brembo (their regular stuff doesn't IMO offer any improvement over OE dealer discs) then consider the 'premium' range which come with a higher carbon content to the steel and painted bells and edges to protect against corrosion and some come with better cooling vanes thanks to the Brembo PVT utilisation

In your case Mike I'd definitely consider the 340x30 Audi TTS front disc, lighter than the 345 by nearly 2kg a side, MUCH better and bigger cooling vanes (PVT) and does away with the 2mm lip on the disc edge that the 345 disc gets when worn, cheaper too as I've just got a pair of Brembo 'premiums' for £102 delivered

I was mate, forgot about those completely!

Would be a good upgrade path for those wanting the look of drilled with OE quality, I'm not too keen on drilled as they always seem to crack when used on track unless your talking mega £s forged with the holes from the start stuff

As an aside, can you source Brembo 08.A202.11 mate? Rear 282x12 premium plain rotors?
