Anyone done this mod where you flash a new WD Scorpio drive to recognise a 320GB?
HddHackr v1.40 & Bootable USB tools I understand its the using the bios to flash the xbox code sectors I'm trying understand?

I'm assuming when you are in Bios mode with the SATA drive you can flash the codes from a USB card via the Bios menu this is where I'm confused TBF any pointers as I could brick the bios or other drives(me and bios flashes don't get on LOL)

Nah Alex its all sorted managed to flash the Ms-Dos on to USB drive it was painless!
The drive cost Less for 320GB 16MB 7200RPM cheaper than buying a stock drive @ 8MB 5400RPM TBF? I just hope it will work by the end of this other wise I'll just use the drive in another build as a spare drive??

I did this too, works out a lot cheaper and it was easy to copy everything from my 120GB on my older 360 to the new 240GB HDD on the newer 360

Yeah its the best way TBF getting 300GB out of the 320 20GB for system partition and all is good just taking me an age to transfer over 50GB's worth of downloads for the lad. Don't need transfer cable using the 32GB USB flash drive to temp store the data and then directly move it over to the new hardrive enclosure.
Takes awhile but hey ho got to use what you have.
