Mk5 carriers for mk6

Hi all asking for a friend he has bought a set of mk6 front calipers but they did not come with carriers will the mk5 carriers fit as he has found a set cheap

should fit ok, i transferred my carriers from my 05 audi a3 to my mk6 with no issues...
