Started my ipad dash install

I have been thinking of doing this for some time but I needed an ipad :) any hoo pretty much made a fibreglass mould then when from there here is how it's standing at the moment :)





Just need to figure out we're to put the aircon panel now :/ lol


VW Golf MK4 1.8 Turbo AUQ 203 BHP-more now :) , ultimate vacuum delete, Forgre 007p-new piston, Oil catch can, s3 boost set up, FMIC, silicone TIP, full turbo back exhaust, stage 1 map, lowered on V-maxx coilovers  audi tt Quattro alloys

Looks good but IMO should be level with the side strips.

Could also mount panel along bottom on a diagnal if you don't need ash tray etc.

Maybe should of gone for a Mini as that looks to big TBH but good effort mate Thought about what the guy did with his A3 think his was a complete build not using the actual audi radio cage

The reason I wanted to do it was just simple.... I wanted do do it and to see if I could do it... As far as the sides are concerned they will be built up to match the cage, radio is going in the glovebox so the missus still has control of the radio :/ and I was thinking that too as far as the climate control diagonally under the ipad :)

Well with a 3g ipad you can use all the maps services which work really well all the other apps digital radio etc so for media wise better than any double din!

We'll nino pretty much what Damien said lol and it's the ipad air so it's got all that 4G goodies on it and also I just wanted to try it out and maybe just maybe might make another and sell it as a proper centre console conversion maybe who knows :)
