1.8 T misfire

Hi got a 1.8 T AUM, got a misfire on tick over, mainly when cold but still very slight when hot. Car drives fine got no fault codes, fitted new plugs, checked and cleaned air flow, got new temp sensor, anyone had this fault ? Thanks simon

check with vw if the coil packs have been done under the recall they had that might help  :wink:

I had the same problem and it was the maf sensor
2004 auq, 550cc injectors, gt3071r, adjustable fpr, ebc, fmic, sachs stage 2, walbro 255, 3" turbo back, 3" custom intake, n75 n249 sai delete.

My money would be on the maf as well.

un-plug it 1st see if the misfire is still there  :wink:

Yeah did that still had misfire but car did go better, I cleaned it and car goes a lot better but still got misfire  :sad:
