Looks like a top job to me Si, mine only looks shiny for 0.2 seconds at the minute.

That's a top job there Simon C. That dodo juice stuff packaging looks a bit suspect though! But hey, gives an excellent result. I'm treating mine to a proper expert detailer treatment a week on Saturday. Will post pics.

Great job Simon, looks superb! In terms of tyre dressing - there are lots of good products depending on the finish you're after. My recommendations are:

Meguiars Endurance gel - very glossy finish and very sticky to touch, but lasts ages! A viscous liquid which should be applied on an applicator.

Dodo Juice Basics Tyre & Trim - Very natural Satin finish, very thin liquid (apply in a cup with a paint brush)

Personally I prefer the basics stuff, leaves this kind of finish...

Hope this helps
Jon

3 months in and yet another wash. Started with Auto Finesse Snow Foam, then washed with G-Techniq shampoo, then Meguiars quick detail clay and finally a coat of G-Techniq C2V3. Just wish the weather would improve so it stays cleaner for longer!!
Gone :Mk7 GTI with Performance Pack, Pure White, Dynaudio & Extended Warranty.

Out of interest lew how much snow foam do you use? I use about 100ml but your picture looks a lot thicker.

Also how do you apply your iron out? Never used a product like that but imagine it'd be useful
