My new Mk6 GTi

Ok so it's a 1:18 Norev die cast, but I had been trying to track this down for 18 months in white, just a shame the real car has gone.

Couple of the others in the collection, these are all cars I have owned and enjoyed in years gone by..



and with its older brother...




Anyone else got any die-casts, very geeky I know and yes I do get ribbed by my wife over it :laugh:

When I owned a Peugeot 406 Coupe, I bought a die-cast model of it. Can't remember the scale but was about 6" long.

I took it apart, painted the seats red and sprayed the body silver to match the full size one. Even printed some tiny matching number plates.

When I part exchanged the car, I left it in the glove box as (hopefully) as a surprise for the new owner.

I have a mark 5 in black and a mark 6 in red 5 came with 17's and the 6 came with 18's and a tiny mark 5 in white  :cool:I must be a geek
