Mk6 GTI Price List?

Hi all,

Just out of interest does anyone know of a working link for a Mk6 GTI price list. I have found a few links but all seem to be dead.

I'm looking at a 60plate GTI and am just curious to see what it would've cost new.

It's a Tornado Red 3-door manual with the following options:
18" Monza Shadows
Leather interior
RNS510
6CD Changer
Winter Pack
Tyre Pressure Monitor

I dont have a price list from late 2010 but I have one dated 1/9/2009 and another dated 23/5/2011

Maybe take the 2009 price
Add the difference for the VAT rise in 2010
add 3% price rise then it will be quite near.

Like I said it's just out of curiosity that I wanted to know but it's nice info to have!!

I just need to figure out my options now with regard to paying for the car. Part-ex value I got offered was rubbish so selling my current car privately would be the preferred way, but it's obviously hassle that I don't want. I just want my GTI please!!!!

I was offered a 10 plate GTI the other day in payment for some work. I rang the dealers to get a valuation on it. It's a totally standard spec, 3 door manual in black with 54,000 miles. £10k they reckoned. Is that really all it's worth? I would have thought it would retail at £13,995, putting it's value around £12k.

That books it at £11,800 with 40k miles px value. Knock off some for the additional 14,000 miles and it's getting down towards £11,000. Seeing that I'm not px'ing it against anything, a dealer offering £10k to add to his stock is probably about right.

I might be able to get £12k for it if I sold it privately, but I really don't want it hanging around. It's rather have the money I'm owed than the car I think.

Dubber, take proper payment instead.  Why should you have the hassle of selling/trading a car to get your payment.

I'm an architect/planning consultant, but being self employed, I'm always on the lookout for a deal that could make a few quid. I'd not drawn any fees on one job that had been on going for over a year, so when the client mentioned tha he was selling his car, to thought it might be an opportunity to make an extra couple of grand.
