basically you can put any dash into any car within reason.
all cars are roughly the same width at the end of the day.
common ones are mk3 golf, mk4 polo, corrado.
less common ones are BMW, TT, S3 and porcshe ones.
I love the look of the 996 dash. Just getting one on the cheap is the hard bit!

yeah getting one on the cheap must be abit hard

cant imagine many audi tt's down the scrappy

a nice smooth dash would look lovely in a golf and i think the work would pay off

nice little image of the tt dash

just cutting and fitting it in would be a bit hard

what about the steering column and the vents how hard is that?

There's a TT just turned up at the scrapyard I use to use loads before I moved. it's the 3.2 V6 too.

you'll never get one cheap unless u do it yourself. There's so much labour involved it's unreal!

What happens regarding the electrics like the speedo and rev coutner? Do you fit the MKII Clocks back in or get the TT ones working?

take a peek at the JBS site (hope this takes you there http://www.jbsautodesigns.co.uk/mk2-s3.htm ) but I'm sure as Dizzie says there's a shed load of work involved. I'd imagine you'd need to graft large portions of the TT loom in to get the A/C etc working, re-jigging pipework etc, then you'd have to put in the heated seats to match...oh and the 225 engine! A whole world of work but it'd be well worth it. The JBS site has the PVW write up on a Mk2 S3 in their media section..not cheap though.
