Sills are prone to scratching by people wearing gritty shoes and not picking up their feet when they get out of the car - same can be said for any car. Seems that everyone who's been in your car since the factory haven't taken much care. I'd be wanting those sill protectors for free if I were you.
Interior protection overspill might require replacement of trim pieces - Acetone is a component of most fabric protectors and it permanently marks many plastics, whitening them.
Looks like those minor issues haven't dulled your enthusiasm, enjoy!

Hey
Robinsons (nee Cooks) in Peterborough.
Despite the little niggly issues (which are more me being super anal), the dealership has been really good. Would recommend them, which is rare for me.
I have a forum sticker in the back window, so you'll know it's me.

Ah fail, my night blue is in the dealership car park at the moment having arrived there on Friday. I have declined their services to add lifeshine etc to the car as I have all the detailing stuff myself at home. I'm happy for them just to wash it and i'll pick it up.
Wonder how they got their hands on the GTD you bought. Was it a cancelled order? They sold their red demo before I could drive it, had to wait for the Carbon Grey one to return from fleet duty for a test drive. Quite happy with the service thus far!

I believe the sales manager had ordered it as a personal car. I spotted it before it got PDi'd and bought it
When did you test drive? Which red demo? I know they just got a new red demo (arrived at the same time as mine), but I thought they couldn't sell it for 90 days?

It was in the car park in October, I ordered start of November, I drove their grey one a week later but that too got sold to some mug who paid over list.
Edit : better not have taken the lead from my car else there will be hell to pay if it's missing! I need both and have seen both in my car already lol

Yeah, aj13usb. I worked out what it cost to build, they sold it for 1k more with 4k miles on it! The 50 I did were pure abuse!
Edit : in taking about the October cars, both are long gone, and both sold for more than they cost to build.

When you say 'cost to build' do you mean list price?
