Some advise please..
« on: 06 January 2014, 23:01 »
Been on the look out for a new interior for my car as the standard trim is abit bland to be honest. As my cars a 3 door there wasnt really much on offer like Gti trims but did find Im told a later Sport trim which I have never seen before but reguardless im very happy with it. Problem I have is on my new seats the passanger side one has some extra plugs 1 is for the seat belt plug which dont apply to me and the other is a extra airbag plug. My old seat does not have this extra airbag plug so I carried on regardless and I now have a airbag fault which I kinda new was gonna happen which isnt a problem anyway. What can I do with this extra plug would it be ok to just T it in with the exsisting loom under the seat if you know what I mean or do I have to do something else?
Other issue I have is when I bought the car the loom coming off the oil sensor in the sump was damaged due to a speed bump. I had the loom repaired and the previous owner had a new sensor fitted. The oil workshop fault kept coming on and it turned out that fuse 39 under the bonnet needed replacing and once I done that cleared the fault and all good. But the last day or so every now and then I get the fault come back up then it dont which is weird. Im thinking is it a faulty sensors or something else dont really want to wong out £60 and the sensors ok just curious if anyone has had a simlar issue thanks. Theres a picture below of the passager seat extra airbag plug ..

Seats in they look really light in the picture but there actually very dark grey
