fuel pressure regulator

Hi Folks
Right ive just tried to start my car for the first time in 5 days, and yes you guess it non starter  :cry:  after doing all the normal checks.....etc and giving the battery a full charge over night and putting a new set of plugs in still no go, since all of this i phoned a friend and he had me removing air filter box and pushing little flap inside....yea you guess it started  :smiley: which i was then told its

hi mate had a similar problem with my cab and it turned out to be the fuel accumilator located next to the fuel pump un ber back of car.

apparently it holds the fuel pressure when the car is not running so it could be yurs is not holding the pressure

I managed to get it started and drove it to local garage, there problem now  :wink: just hope it does,nt cost me a arm & a leg  :rolleyes:
