Window problems

So, since I bought the car the passenger side window hasnt worked 100%. It works fine from the drivers door switch, however it only goes up on the drivers side!

Now after owning a mk4, I remember the switches were faulty (solder would break).

Is this the same case on the mk5?

It one of those things that doesn't really matter, but is also extremely annoying! Might try changing the switch, £3 on eBay..
