Hi, just wondering how difficult it is to change my clutch on mk4 2.0 golf gti, obviously its not gonna be easy, just wanted to see if anyone had done it before and could give me some advice, have done a few clutches in the past including mk4 1.4 clutch. Thanks in advance.

same basic idea as the 1.4. not so much difficult but time consuming.

3-4 hours on the floor, Golf boxes are so bloody easy compared to other cars.

Only box I struggle with is the 6 speed, Don't fancy doing another any time soon.

Your telling me..... Took me well over 2 nights to do it lol it's not the undoing the box it's getting it off and out that's the drama lol took me and my mate best parts of 2 hour to drop the box down lol

Any hassle with clearance, just drop the other engine mounts and lower the engine a tad.

Makes life on these cars so much easier.
