Paper cone filter
« on: 03 January 2014, 09:22 »
We've just got in a good stock of S2000 paper cone air filters

Best thing to run on charged engines as we find any other type of filter just lets too much muck through, I know this all too well with superchargers but we're finding it on turbos as well!

We can get a silicone reducer in black too, these will be £15

Just to add, they're all in the black plastic and red filter colours too, most you'll find elsewhere are cream and green

What colour are yours and do they have oil on?

A few aftermarket s2000 filters I've picked up had an oil coating.
Think they were bluepoint?

They're all Black plastic with Red filter.

No oil as a paper filter, only oil they might have will be just packing to keep them fresh

IIRC there are 4 colours that you can get, two colours have slight oil on them, two have none. could be wrong though

Mine is the same as the one's Matt is selling, red filter with black plastic. It came with a small amount of oil inside the plastic packaging but the filter itself is dry.

Mine was also Red and black, It was quite oily in and around the plastic neck.
It cleaned up well with a cloth.

Jeeze!!!!!! How much? £42???? You can't be serious?

I don't want to upset you but these filters are £12.90 from EuroCar parts.

they don't even cost that much from Honda,.

True, but not the Red and Black ones. We've been through all this and hunted for another source.

The cheap ones aren't the same quality make and aren't red and black  Thanks though.

I'm pretty sure the Honda ones are around £60 in red and black

They are the black and red ones. I have bought 2 from them in the past couple of months.

They show the green one in the picture but they turn up black and red, I really don't think they are any different.

Give me the part no. off your filters and I'll check against mine.
