Did you need a courtesy car?
« on: 02 January 2014, 18:01 »
So my GTD is in for repair next Friday due to the creaking in the steering and opted for me to deliver with courtesy car instead of collection and delivery (in case it took more than 1 day and having no car for the weekend)

Has anyone taken their MK7 in and opted for a courtesy car and if so what type of car should I expect?

I've been parading around in my GTD very smug and worrying now that I will have a weekend with a beetle and VW advertising print all over it  :embarrassed:

I got a Tiguan R Line after i grumbled about being given an UP!. If i had paid that much money for a car like that i would have been massively disappointed.

If it's only for a day or two though it doesn't matter as everyone knows courtesy/hire cars are the fasted cars on the roads

Last courtesy car I had was a bright yellow peugeot small bean looking thing. Dunno what it's called, but it felt like I was driving a tin can. NB: Wasn't from a VW dealership. I'd be happy with an UP! At the very least, it makes you appreciate your own.
