Obd port on radio cage Q
« on: 01 January 2014, 13:18 »
Hello does the obd port clip in to the radio cage

Reason for question is that I want to put my ipad there but was wondering if I could move the obd with out cutting the wires as the radio cages on eBay all have the obd port still attached and the wires cut at the back

I know that lol but I'm just going to buy another radio cage and do the ipad install on that, so is the obd plug removable without having to cut the cables :) ??

I would say yeah, as most of the replacement cages don't have the obdII port attatched. If you bought it second hand it was probably just easier to cut the cables than remove the port.
