if your only going to lower it by 30mm then any of them will do just go for the cheapest ones.
I have jom coilovers only £180 and my car is lowered by 80mm with no problems

I've got bilstien b8 shocks and eibach pro-kit springs on mine, only a 20mm drop and the ride is awesome!

If ure only going to 30mm avoid coils especially joms joms are for people that want cheap mega lows! A decent shocker set and 30mm spring will do u perfect and will be mega comfy

As above you do not need coilovers for a small drop, goods quality spring and shock kit will be better all round.

Thankyou for the input guys!...
So in the end i dissreguarded the 18's wheels & i picked up a near new set of genuine vw Tocatta 17's instead..
I'm going for 225/45's....& something like either dunlop fast response OR a good ol set of Conti's.
Now then...given Eibach are good german quality springs..my original dampers are in servicable shape...so as i'm only going 30mm....i'm sure i'll be ok here methinks.
I'm chuffed with the wheels
Just seen the B8's on ebay. seem cheap enough..

ive got some springs you can have for cheap fella, one of my b12's was shot when I bought the car so swapped the lot for joms as I wanted it lower. I'll get a picture of it with the springs on and post it then you can let me know if I interested in them.
