Intercooler help

I have recently bought a brand new front mount intercooler off eBay for my Sreg golf gti 1.8t.
Basically I'm having trouble understanding where to fit the intercooler at the front of me car. Do indeed to remove the bumper support ?? :s :s
Any help or tips would be much appreciated cheers

when I fitted mine I removed the bumper support then fitted the intercooler and then cut the bumper support so it would fit back on. also you might have problems with the bumper.

You'll definitely have to trim the crash bar and will probably have to cut a significant amount off the back of the bumper as well.

I'm not sure about where to put the mount brackets

Are they L shape brackets? If so mount them to the crash bar

Aye Dom L brackets , will I have to drill holes in the bumper support for the mount bolts?
