as above ,i found a weep from the middle of the expansion return pipe
renewed it but still losing water..
so ran her up till the fan cut in ,then turned off & unplugged the fan..still no obvious leek
ended up squeezing all the rubber hoses & found a split , which was squirting onto the alternator, then getting thrown onto the plugs,the split in a year old Euro car parts hose
looks like it has perished from old age,maybe on a shelf too long ?
still an easy fix
