Hey folks, just wondering if this GT Tdi in Edition 30 clothing used to belong to someone from on here?

Im tempted as i love the sporty look, but would enjoy the economy of the diesel.  Would be good if it belonged to a forum user, then i might get a bit more background info on the car:

yeah, theyre on my radar also.  Ideally i like the economy of diesel (got a mk4 tdi now), but love the looks of the gti / edition30.  The TDi's even GT sport versions just look sh!te in my opinion, so the link i posted seems a nice compromise

With a stage one (and supporting mods) on my GTI, I can cruise along a motorway at 70mph and see 35-40MPG using high octane fuel. The extra cost of diesel for just 10MPG is barely worth the cut in performance, enjoyment and knowing that when you go to sleep at night, there's a GTI sat on the driveway.

Supporting mods?  what's your bhp these days?  Is that 35-40mpg on the trip, or confirmed?  cause my trip shows 16mpg more than i actually get :S

I'd definitely be interested in the remap as it seems a no brainer.
