Toyo or Dunlop
« on: 19 December 2013, 15:15 »
Guys I bought a pair of Dunlop SP4 Winter tyres for my Gti last month, the reason I didn't buy 4 was that I thought the winters I had in my garage was the same size but are 45's instead of 40's
So called my local tyre fitter he said he has a pair of Toyo's winters which he said he would rather fit them to the front and have the Dunlops on the rear

Do my question to you guys what would you have on the front???

your supposed to go with your better grip tyres on the back but I always have them on the fronts as you'll end up scrabbling for grip.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

I would buy a pair to match the ones you already have... the difference can't be that great...

I like to run with the same tyre (design, manufacture etc.) all round, for a few pounds you'll not have the concern of which tyres should be on which axle.
