Hubs

Hi guys, uprated my brakes on my 8v for g60 callipers and carriers do I need g60 hubs?

Will probs be corrected but I think it depends on the year of 8v whether or not the hubs are ok. The late 8v is ok as the calliper is not mounted to the hub and can be detached and the larger calliper fitted. There is a thread from a few weeks ago where I asked about brake upgrades and it was all covered in there.

Aye if you have 239mm brakes then you need 16v/g60 hubs

Yeah 8v are 239mm and have the caliper carriers cast onto the hub carrier as above. I recommend you search for Seat ibiza gti 4 stud units which are the same but without the rare eBay tax.
