Front badge removal

Found a you tube vid that said twist anti-clockwise to remove it unclipped but was a pig to get out and smapped a clip not being heavy handed just seemed really reluctant to come off

They twist to the left and come out but re a rite pain in the arse poor design tbh i've tried a eurowagens matt black that fitted well and looked nice and got a gloss black today but i'm going back standard looks better

Aswell as the anti clockwise twist, vw also slightly melt the plastic clips so it doesn't work loose thru road vibration.
