Price on a 'Tune up'???

Hi guys..

Well i've cleaned out my ISV..throttle body..airbox..all pipes etc..

Got my brand new Dizzy..cap..leads and plugs on! I havn't started the engine yet as i wanted to wait till the weekend to see if it runs how it should! Sad i know but i'm like that  :laugh:

Now i want to get a mobile tuner out but how much should i pay?? What will he do? CO mix? timing?

Can't beleive i missed that  :embarassed:

All that is needed to tuned the car is to get the ignition timming done and get the C0 set to 2%, if you have a good local MOT center, they should do this for youfor under £20

Also make sure the timing belt is on correctly and not a notch out, i have no idea how to do that :)

Also get a haynes and test all the switchs, throttle switch, over run, diaphgram saucer thing, temp senders etc. best to make sure all these work fine first and also get a new earth straps aswell, you have then eliminated most of the problem spots, then get it set up!

Where do you live monzablue16v? RR Tune here in Northampton is about £120! I just had mine tuned (not RR) - cost me £50 plus VAT which is the going rate round here......... :cry:
