Yea stick with standard air box. There was an old thread on here by Khare comparing different set ups and the smoothed out standard air box with cold air feed was the best.

before the new range of filters were available,things haven't stayed still in induction (pipercorss viper - neuspeed etc which are proper airbox types)

like this (ok so it's k&n who don't do one for a mk3 but I can only guess these are better than o.e airbox?)

I dont wanna ruin my standard box would rather fit the cda and live with noise  :smug:
