Wanting to fit my CDA Air filter But What About Air Sensor?

As stated where should i mount this is there some sort of bypass or does this need to be in a bit of the induction pipe between TB + Air filter what is best way to mount/fit this.

I had a bodged modified air box previously and it was just glued into a hole in the box im not sure if this worked properly or not.

I had one on my 16v when i got it.Previous owner had put a hole in side of pipe and "glued" it in with PVA sealant.The other pipe coming from cold start valve had been cut short and fitted with a small Pipercross filter.I went back to std airbox !.

Yeh i have also gone back to standard but even though the air box previously was a badge did make a difference so i want to do it proper now and this cold start pipe what one is that

It has been proved with results to back it up that an airbox with a K&N filter that has a good cold feed pipe is far better than any cone filter

but surely a CDA thats not a cone air  filter as its entirely enclosed so no engine heat can enter with a well made cold air feed will have the same effect with less space taken up and alot more engine noise 
CDA have such a good reputation for increase and with the golf have a poor air filter system as standard i think this will make a big difference.

Aftermarket Air filters only enhance the sound on GTi's. You shouldn't have bothered really.

Airboxes have come on from when the tests were done, many sport airfilters also come with a heat shield or airbox (which was the main issue with the filters on test)

I would like a re-test to see how the new set's up's compare (b.t.w mine had a pipercross induction kit and now has a pipercross panel in o.e airbox and I'm sure the airbox set up has given it a flat spot (maybe more power but I'd prefer no flat spot!)

changing from my modified air box with internals cut out and standard filter still in place to my completely standard one just fells like the car has a flat spot no acceleration no throttle response but the modified box was such a bodge had to change it i never new what a difference it actually made.

I would stick with std airbox with cold air feed.I hate induction noise on a 4 cylinder anyway.

A V8 with right exhaust  yes yes yes but not on anything smaller sorry.

Cold start valve has a pipe coming from it that goes to side of airbox.

Yea stick with standard air box. There was an old thread on here by Khare comparing different set ups and the smoothed out standard air box with cold air feed was the best.
