Problem with the integra is finding a reasonable one for 5 I with low mileage as I know the engines are bullet proof but the suspension and everything after 100k is going to need returning or replacing

Subaru Impreza  2.0 turbo. Steer clear of modded ones and the sti and they are almost bullet proof. But running costs are high.

For budget fun don't discount the mg zs 180 get a good mk2 model for about 2k

I've had 4 zs 180s and never had a problem like all cars service them regularly and they will run for years.

Only issues with the kv6 is the water pumps can leak, and the motors on the vis can fail. But the water pump is changed when cam belt is done and vis motors get screwed up because of oil build up in intake this can be sorted by fitting catch tank.

The kv6 doesn't really suffer from h/g failure either.

My choice would be 182 with Cup Packs. Full fat. Plenty of fun. Try and get the better seats though mine are horrible on a long journey and are the same IIRC as the proper cups and some standard 182's etc.

Fine if looked after and make sure cambelt is done properly as can't be done without tools. Can't stress this enough, anyone that says they've done one either hasn't or has knocked it out a tad, they will run and sometimes seemingly fine but down on power.

Where all my moneys went.

Not a fan of the MG, it looks pretty horrendous to be honest. Plus the inside isn't the nicest place to be.
