just got hold of some 993 twists there 18s, 10J 265 at the back, whats the best size to go for stretched? 255? don't wanna go crazy but want my arches left intact lol

Pretty sure I got 225s over mine. With them being 10J you will be struggling at the rear to keep the tread within the arch...

It depends on the offset of your wheels? If you're lowered 10j with 255 tyres will foul the arches unless the offset is high.

I imagine the wheels are something like ET45ish...10J wide is huge, you will be only just missing rubbing on your rear shocks. The tyre tread must also be within the wheel arch (sorry if teaching to such eggs) and in my experience, anything more than a 225 and it won't be.

its looking like its gonna be trouble  my cars 30mm lowered clears the current 18s no probs but there standard fit on the anni anyway 8Js, adapters is an issue too trying to get hold of them is stupid

It all boils down to the offset of the wheels...

The offset will be stamped on the rear of the wheels, post it up here and we'll be able to tell you if they'll fit.
