Can anyone please tell me how many weeks before your estimated build week that it shows build week confirmed on the online tracker?

It's usually 4 weeks before and the tracker usually only 'changes' to 'build week confirmed' on a Sunday.

Hi all

beware: the tracker seems to be telling porkies again - my car has been showing as in transit since 23rd November, but my dealer confirms it arrived in the country some time ago.

Unfortunately, I can't pick it up yet as I'm going for a 14 plate registration

Don't think I would want my new car sitting at the dealership for 4 months

I agree- although I would take it in first week january - at least then its a proper 2014 registered car. Thats would make sense!

To be fair, its two months not four. Unfortunately timing for disposal of present car etc. was all arranged on the basis of VW's estimated 26 week delivery timetable......the GTI actually arrived in about 14 weeks leaving me a little bit caught out!
