I hate ECP with a passion, I had the misfortune of dealing with their customer service department last year when a thermostat they provided failed within 2 weeks of purchase.

The hassle I went through to get a refund was ridiculous, safe to say I've never shopped there since.

I also notice they are no longer forum sponsors!

I did a click and collect on a thermstat yesterday, online it was £5.27 and when I got there the bastards tried charging me almost £13 which I obviously refused to pay. Eventually I got the online price but gits then stung me for the O-ring.
Anyway whilst sitting in the car looking at it and the invoice I noticed the part numbers didnt tally up...low and behold the f**k*rs had given me the wrong one!

I used these once when down to local one near me and asked for a dizzy cap and rota arm. Some how with using my reg looking at the car and me explaining what 1 looks like they got it completely wrong even the dizzy was wrong so i went back in dealing with a clueless 19 year old surrounded by teenagers not knowing 1 thing about cars could not find the correct part.

In the end he uses his software on a memory stick (the only memory stick with the software in the whole building) and some how there was only one listing for 2.0 16v ABF Engine and stated i was clearly wrong and there is only 1 part listed for this car.

All the young lads where just guessing when customer come in and just didn't have a clue how they even got a job in selling car parts is unreal.

After ringing another local supplier to me he informed me there is a black and orange type determining what type you have i went there collected the part (at a cheaper price) and it fitted perfectly no problems.

These euro car parts employ people on minimum wage who don't know or care for there work when i spoke to a guy on the phone he sounded like he knew what he was talking about but clearly not.

This was the last time i used them and they always made out it was my fault the part was incorrect the worse part is the only person who knew how to use any of the software was also a teen the was no "real" adult there to help with my problem.

So it does not  matter if you use online or go in they just cant get correct parts.

The worse part is changed the rotor arm in the car park and my one fell apart so had to call my mum to collect the new 1 for me euro car parts just don't care or seem to know anything.

BTW This was a luton branch could be different in other places just my opinion.
